Anti-Racism Daily
Anti-Racism Daily (ARD) provides daily actions to dismantle white supremacy. As soon as the newsletter began readers started screenshot and share the daily lessons with their friends and family across social platforms. I quickly realized that there was an opportunity to turn these daily lessons into a more digestible form to be shared on Instagram, so I created one and shared it with Nicole Cardoza, the Founder of Anti-Racism Daily. At the time ARD didn't have an Instagram so I set out to create a brand identity that was accessible, type driven, and most importantly would help amplify the various lessons and resources from the ARD Team.

The Anti-Racism Daily brand that Nicole and Max created is strong, to the point, and fulfills its intentions with apt typography and colours. What’s most powerful about this brand is how much it communicates with so few elements. Everything is intentional and rightfully unapologetic, like the typography choice of VTC Martin - “a non-violent typeface inspired by remnants of the Memphis Sanitation Strike of 1968.”
